How's it workin for ya 3 years later?

Anyone better off?... that's a good one !

here's the good news.. Nov. 2012 isn't so far off... and I for one will look back on the 4 lost years of my life, and realize..

  ....I can finally breath again.

So... lastly, I am willing to go out on a limb, and a year ahead, predict.. , no, guarantee... a massive conservative victory...

......If I'm wrong... I'm sure a few of you will be back to remind me I posted this.

The Free Market will reign again.

                                                                                      Hope and change.. is.. coming.

Wrong again, John. Nowhere did I show preference for any party because I believe them all to be disgusting and corrupt.

As several people here know, I wouldn't vote for President Obama again.

He was hands off at all the wrong times, and was weak. He also was completely wrong in his handling of the Middle East.

I would rather be crucified while covered in honey over an ant hill than vote tea party. I cannot identify with them at all, nor can I stand what went on at their rallies.

Good night, mate. I'm old and need my sleep.

Quoting gmc2, reply 209who's Barry?

Last name O.

That's just John's way of showing disrespect for the President of The United States.

I have no, I repeat, no respect.. for Barrack Obama.

..and he has none for me.

Night Seth.

I have no, I repeat, no respect.. for Barrack Obama.

..and he has none for me.

First is your right.

The second is unfair.  He does not know you.

Interestingly, there are FAR MORE people on this planet who are profoundly grateful that Obama is the Prez....and Bush is no longer.

Unfortunately for Obama...they are MOSTLY ineligible to vote for a Pres.

on Oct 02, 2011

Anyone man who wants to take, in these proportions and redistribute, another mans wealth, to another man who has not earned it, in proper, has little or no respect for that man.

Any man who removes the word Creator, from the declaration of independence, disrespects and offends those who believe it should not be omitted.

I truly could go on and on, but in short, I couldn't feel any more disrespected by an American president.

Perception is reality.. or.. so they say.

That's what a 'tax' is.

I'm sure even Americans are required to pay taxes...and that Obama did NOT invent the process....

John...irrespective of whether you like him or not...or what he does - makes no difference to the fact he still does not know you.

I knew u would say that

There's taxes, and there's the overly redistributive practices of a socialist society... BIG difference...Huge.

I choose taxes.

No, he does not know me... then again, I didn't profess he did... You don't have to know someone personally to disrespect them.. Imo.

If I feel disrespected by someone, who may or may not know me.. then, afaiac, I am.

This is really neither here or there in the grand scheme of things, just a personal feeling of mine. Last I checked, I can disrespect a Pres. all I want to and not be persecuted for it.

Lord knows, George Bush was all but assassinated in the blogosphere, I don't see anyone complaining about that.

I think calling him Barry, which actually IS a nickname of his, is.. ok.

Beats 'Dubba Ya'

I'll make him a deal, withdraw Obamacare, take back all the intrusive left wing driven attacks on free enterprise, take back all the apology's for our nation,

be a true friend to Israel, read the declaration of independence verbatim and I'll stop calling him Barry.. there's a deal for him.

Maybe a reminder of "The Great Dixie Chicks Debacle" will cheer you up.

Show me some positive facts, directly attributed to this Admin. Aside from the killing of terrorists, which I give credit to our military and CIA for.

I've been sitting here pondering this and I can only come up with a few things, which you may or may not find encouraging:

1 - I believe we do have to credit him for keeping Pakistan out of the loop during the Osama project.  You've got to admit, that was a pretty ballsy decision, and personally I do believe it directly affected the results.  Granted, not a fact.

2 - As I mentioned before I also believe his choice to stay at arms length from Libya was prudent economically (and diplomatically). Granted, not a fact.

3 - I believe his interest in the repeal of "Don't Ask Don't Tell" is a positive thing.  I know, not a fact.

I've also been sitting here pondering past presidents trying to think of any positive facts I can directly attribute to them, and you know, I'm not coming up with much.  Seriously, I'm blank.  I guess my political memory is as short as anyone else.

on Oct 02, 2011

Well, most former presidents didn't come riding in on a white horse, backed by Messianic fanfare either.

I cant think of anyone so heralded, that has failed, so badly.

He's done a few good things dont get me wrong, but mostly i am thinking in domestic policy terms that affect our everyday lives.

Night all.

Yes, you can feel it, but at best it will only be presumptuous on your part that you personally were targetted as you cannot have been if the person does not even know of your existence....

That's easy....one got Marilyn Monroe to sing a sexy rendition of 'Happy Birthday'.

There's a 'positive' thing....

I wonder if Obama could get Dolly to do a sexier one?

"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance."

Cicero , 55 BC

We know Rome's fate........so, evidently we've learned nothing in the past 2,066 years.
