Seems the other thread is borked for most of us.
Now.. where were we?
Oh yes...heres an idea, I'd like it if all of you would either listen to the radio show or.. watch the TV show.. all week
Try not to miss one day as he tends to connect one show to another.
Each day, or at the end of week you can come in and explain why you think the main point of each show.. is either factually incorrect or in some way racist, lunatic blah blah etc..
and perhaps try to view the information from as much of a non-partisan aspect as you can.
...or not.
skinning!......you're supposed to be....skinning....
Just seeing if anyone will actually watch the show they are knocking.
I do see excerpts on the Daily Show, does that count?
Then sorry to say but that tells me exactly what I thought in your case then.
http://patriotsnetwork.com/ actually this site has all 5 of last weeks full shows. Becks strongest language yet.
Watch with an open mind... if your able.
Hell, watch #1 and see if you don't want to see the rest... and remember.. it's not how its being presented (insert ass clown here) but what is.. being presented.
I've watched it. I watched it last week when he brought his shrink/friend on and showed him the list of names his been called in the past week. He asks him how to 'go into battle' against these people that would call him names. The shrinks anologies start off with comparisons to drug users.
Beck then says "You know who will save this country? Alcoholics and drug addicts." His reasoning is that they 'know the dea'l and understand the name calling.
From there he admits he is a 'religous nut job' and the worst thing that could happen to him would be 'returning to my heavenly father without honor. Without doing what I was supposed to do." Not losing his job. Not losing his car.
I have nothing against him being religous. Not one damn thing. But he said nothing about being objective or responsible. As much as I don't agree with the guy, it was painful to watch. He all but said that his own 'agenda' was motivated by his religous background. It gave me flashbacks of Howard Beale saying he heard 'a voice' and the voice told him what to do.
Whatever his motivation, the guy is losing it. What if Obama announced all he has done so far was for the honor of his heavenly father. That that was the most important thing to him, above losing the presidency or his place in history? Beck would be all over it. The first thing he would want to know (if he didn't assume he already knew) was exactly who Obama's God was.
I'm starting to think more and more of the 30 million who tune in do so for the same reasons his fans do. They like a good train wreck. I think folks are tuning in now to watch him implode.
Po you mentioned nothing about the facts, videos, excerpts, ideas pesented over 4 hours.
Just shot the messenger.
I'll take it as I gave it.
i watched one show 2 or 3 weeks ago and that was far too much. between my laughing at his antics and being pissed off over his constant statement of 'facts' that were blatent lies, i don't care to watch him or hannity again.
k, so.. 1 show.. weeks ago. uh huh.
(btw Pas.. I was able to find the game, wasn't the best quality.. but was able.) Go Jags!!!
Watched all five last week. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!! The fact that Glenn Beck IS full of drama, I watch for the facts!
Couldn't agree more.
Damn, and all this time I've been watching the Discovery Channel.
i'm glad you were at least able to watch it, john. i know the quality isn't the best but ............
