How's it workin for ya 3 years later?

Anyone better off?... that's a good one !

here's the good news.. Nov. 2012 isn't so far off... and I for one will look back on the 4 lost years of my life, and realize..

  ....I can finally breath again.

So... lastly, I am willing to go out on a limb, and a year ahead, predict.. , no, guarantee... a massive conservative victory...

......If I'm wrong... I'm sure a few of you will be back to remind me I posted this.

The Free Market will reign again.

                                                                                      Hope and change.. is.. coming.

Gotta love someone talking about Fox News, then links to ultra-left wing propaganda motherjones. LOL

 Couldn't have said it better..

They must really hate it that FOX is far and away the #1 network, while the lamestream media continues to falter, and stumble all over themselves.

.. as the ship.. sinks.

At least Greg admits he prefers socialism (still blows me away).. but shows character, even if we disagree.

Anyone who claims to know about the Tea Party and then claims to mouth-off about the "evil" Koch Brothers is being more than dishonest.  The Tea Party movement does not have a single entity and is not controlled by anyone.  Sure, some groups have been hijacked by some for their political needs, but that does not speak for the majority movement.  I bet $100 you have never even attended a Tea Party rally, and I can also bet you any Tea Party rally out there is locally funded from it's supporters.

Mr. Chasbo likes to call out the Koch's, but remain surprisingly quiet when it comes to George Soros and other socialist/marxist people who openly fund left-wing events.  You mention Fox News, but fail to mention how George Soros funds many mainstream media outlets through various business entities.

You speak about Ohio and Wisconsin "rising up".  Yeah, that was a big joke.  Remember how the Wisconsin people trashed the Capital, were funded by big unions, and brought numerous account of violence? Oh, and remember when Wisconsin had the chance to reverse and recall.....well they didn't because the majority of people are tired of the unions and their hypocrisy.  Lets not even get started on that pathetic occupy Wall Street thing that is going on.  Bunch of deodorant-deprived hippies led by Michael Moore who makes his millions off the capitalist system.  LOLOLOL.  You can't make this s*** up!!!!!!

It makes me laugh that people believe that it makes any difference who's in the White House. The Corporation of America is run by suits, not elected civil servants.

All the same discussions carry on as before without a concern that this cycle of greedy political one-up-man-ship is destroying our country.

I pretty like much like everyone here but you folks need to really stop and take a breath, read what is being written here.  You are not seeing yourself being lead around by the same rhetoric that has gone on for ages.  All the talk about the Demorcratics do this and the Republicans do that is keeping everyone devided, which by the way is the only reason the greedy bastards are able to stay elected.

We need to get over the 'those folks are the blame for our troubles' and move on.

Okay, there I've said it, now beat the hell out of me and lynch me for speaking my mind.

First Steve that was so correct and to the point. We need more action on to the point in this country.

Chasbo
The Tea Party types who you seem to support are the ones who are in bed with big money. That fat ass fool from New Jersey is a good example.

Don't know where you live Chasbo and it may be in New Jersey. If you live there you are sure entilted to your views.

However I do live in NJ and see it different. Is the fat man or actual name Christie perfect? No. Is anyone perfect? No.

He has cut Millions from things that people said couldn't be done but were done by him. He has stood up to the Mayors of all the towns, big union people, and you know what? He has won which has lowered our State budget and town bugets. All the bitching from the Mayors, Union, School Teachers, State workers etc has now calmed down and things are pretty quite. They didn't all like the thought of having to pay a small percentage of their health care but are doing it and why not. I know several people on a personal basis that are school teachers including mu own Daughter. Would they have liked it all to be free, sure they would. however if you really talk to them one on one they seem to understand and accept it. They had to bitch and fight a bit but who wouldn't when something is being taken away.

Many of the smaller towns were hit hard but are now doing fine. They adjusted once they realizied that all the free money that was coming in for years isn't free anymore. They did what the fat man did and got rid of all the waste.

So change? Maybe the fast man is what is needed. He doesn't give in to all the stuff everything can't be done. As Steve said the President doesn't have as much power as most think. Very correct but Christie also doesn't give in and take BS form all the other people. The man would end up with his veto pen running out of ink but things would sooner or later get done to improve things.

Everyone wants change and as of now the fat man says he isn't going to run for President but that may change. Wanting change wht wouldn't a person not vote for him knowing they would be putting in a person that doesn't kiss the special groups asses. Of course we could make a change and just put another person in that sounds different and sweet talks but wouldn't have the balls to actually do what is needed.

BTW: I pick people not parties and splite most of the time when voting. Am I a Christie total lover, hell no. Would I be willing to vote him in for President? Yes because I know at least there would be change in this Country.

If this is all they have... good luck

Well, that and "he's too fat'

Too funny.

Personally, I think a Christie \ Rubio ticket is what Obama fears the most.... Even a Cain \ Rubio ticket.

Whoever the nominee is, Libs, Dems, remember the name Rubio, He will be your president one day.

At least Greg admits he prefers socialism (still blows me away).. but shows character, even if we disagree.

well, the choice was between free market and socialism. I'm a capitalist, was self employed for 20 years and still believe that everyone should have health care, quality education and help where/when needed. I don't condone abuse.

the free market system has destroyed the economy and our health care system. It costs me $100.00 just to show up for an appointment at the hospital. when I had my hip replaced they charged me $1,000.00 for drugs I didn't use. thank goodness my wife works for a company that believes in being socially responsible to provide health insurance for their employees.

Unions: they have got themselves in a pickle. they always have to get something for their members even when the economy is not functioning good. it's unfortunate because they have made a great difference and can probably be credited with raising up the middle class. My Dad was in the dock workers strikes back in the early 1900's. The unions helped to create a living wage, stopped sweat shops and child labor abuses. but I guess if you're anti-union it's okay to put my kid, but not yours, to work at 12 instead of going to school to get an education.

on Sep 29, 2011

Well, I'm not anti union, everything doesn't need to be black and white,  There is good and bad, in everyone, but we learn to live, we learn to give each other, what we need to survive, together aliii....

eh... where was I?

Oh yes, Unions have done some good things, Obama.. has done some good things , but, I tend to weigh the good and the bad, as it relates.. to ME, and those around me.... unfortunately, at least as I see it, Obama, nor any union, is going to take ME, or my family, to a better place.

There are bad things about every GOP nominee, but I see more good in them, than I see bad... for ME.

We just have fundamental disagreements on the role of government in our lives, how money should be spent, and our individual rights and freedoms.

in its most simplistic breakdown... G O V T... get the HELL out of my way, and life.

Hmm.. as suspected, this thread is not faring well, for the current 'leadership'

Lets talk again soon, I'm sure they just need a few more months.
